INTER MOLECULAR INTERACTIONS

Secondary interactions
Secondary  interactions are the intermolecular forces which are sometimes called as vander Waal's forces.Intermolecular forces depends on the dipole momentum.Intermolecular forces  can be classified in to one of the six types.

  1. Hydrogen bonding
  2. Dipole-dipole interactions
  3. Ion-dipole interactions
  4. Ion-induced dipole interactions
  5. Dipole-induced dipole interactions
  6. Dispersion interactions(London forces)
